On Valentine's Day, February 14, 2002, six sensational jazz Divas sang from their hearts in a benefit concert at The Vogue Theatre. The Divas raised another $35,000 making a total of $75,000. All the proceeds went to The Vancouver Friends For Life Society, a nonprofit organization that provides care for people living with life-threatening illness. It all began one year ago in a magical concert at The Vogue Theatre that wowed a standing room only crowd. The Divas continued to pack houses during The Vancouver International Jazz Festival, and a CD was produced: DIVAS For Life - Live At The Vogue!
